ERDG put together a homeland security forum--Emergency Preparedness in the Region: What Have We Done and What is Still Needed--in conjunction with Princeton's University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on April 3, 2009. It was a day-long discussion of topics that included emergency preparedness, critical infrastructure protection, stakeholder relations, and public health. Proceedings.
ERDG advised 9/11 Commission spokesman and University of Pennsylvania professor Dr. Alvin Felzenberg in the creation of a syllabus for a course on Emergency Response Communications that was given in 2009 and will be given, again, at Penn in 2012. The course was also given by Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC in 2010.
ERDG founder Eric Kutner gave a guest lecture on homeland security, risk, risk management, and continuity of operations for a project finance course at New York University (NYU) in the Fall of 2011. Eric has also given talks on networking, relationship-building, and collaboration at the 2011 IJIS Institute Summer Industry Briefing in Jersey City, NJ, the 2010 NorthEast Disaster Recovery Information X-Change (NEDRIX) conference in Newport, RI, and for US Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Global Borders College in Harpers Ferry, WV.
